Chajju Flutes was founded by Master Craftsman- Late. Chajju Khan (1860–1958) also know as “Chajju Bansuriwale” on the ideology of designing and building the finest professional, innovative and best-in-class Bansuris. He was an ace flutist, popular for playing with woodwinds within the melodic styles. He was been felicitated by Late. Pt. Pannalal Ghosh “Pioneer of Indian Classical Flute” in the year 1955 for his great artisanship. His conviction that every single bit of Bansuri must satisfy the most ideal standard before it is removed from the workshop is the thing that makes the nature of Chajju Flutes emerge. He taught music in Colleges of Meerut in his Forties. Chajju Flutes was founded 150 years ago in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and is one of the leading flute manufacturer in North India.

His son late. Mohd. Syadullah (1930 – 2015) and grandson Mohammad Yusuf had maintained his legacy. Chajju Flutes are unarguably the best and best in the business. Flutes are crafted in the best in class workshop housed in “Meerut” utilizing the absolute best specialists and instruments. Bansuris made by them were not only played by established artists, but also at Lord Krishna’s Dwarakadheesh Temple in Mathura.

Chajju Flutes are not only popular in Mumbai, Odisha, Chennai, Aligarh and North-East India but in foreign countries like, England, Australia, Germany and Canada. They have designed Flutes for Popular Radio Artist, Musicians like Shri. VishnuDutt Sharma, Pt. Sunder Lal Gandharv, Shri. Harsh Wardhan and well-known Film Director Shri. Sudhir Gupta. Many leading newspapers such as Amar Ujala, Western U.P., Kuber Times, The Pioneer ect., have published the articles for Chajju Flutes.

Chajju Flutes is now operated by M/s. Ahmad International by the fourth generation, namely Mr. Khaleed Parvez & Mr. Iqbal Ahmad.
